The following will be required in order to run these water meth injection kits:
• You need a exhaust setup without a cat.
• You need to remove the center stand.
• You need access to methanol.
I would rate the difficulty level of this installation as medium to hard. I provide very good step by step instructions but you will still need some skills to complete the installation as well as a variety of different tools which I cover in the installation instructions.
If you’re in a area where you’re unable to get high quality fuel, if you’ve installed supercharger gears, if you’re looking to get aggressive with your tune, or if you just want to have another layer of safety for your engine then you could benefit from having water meth injection on your bike.
The way this kit works is under boost conditions the water/meth mixture is sprayed into the intake. That mixture can help lower the intake air temperature, raise the octane of the fuel going into the combustion chamber and help to prevent knock and detonation.
Each water meth injection kit consists of over 60 different components and over 140 pieces. Each kit will include all of the required components to complete the installation as well as detailed step by step instructions for the installation and initial setup.
The nozzles I use for these kits feature atomizers that can be changed out to adjust the flow rate of the nozzle. I include a complete nozzle assembly as well as 2 different atomizers with each kit standard so that you can adjust the flow rate if necessary.
